Tribute Giving

A tribute gift in Honor of or in Memory of is a meaningful way to recognize Someone Special with a Gift in Their Name.

If you have a loved one who has been impacted by Lake-Geauga Habitat for Humanity, donating a tribute gift is a meaningful way to honor them or celebrate a special occasion, a life of service, or a birthday, while supporting our mission. Your memorial or tribute gift will be a beautiful recognition of your loved one or friend and make a difference in the lives of those we serve in Lake and Geauga Counties.​

Honor & Memorial Gifts (By Mail)

Honor or remember a loved one with a tribute gift to Lake-Geauga Habitat for Humanity. Your donation helps create safe, affordable homeownership for families in our community while celebrating the life or impact of someone special.

When you make a tribute gift, we will send a notification letter on your behalf to the person or family you designate. Donation amounts are never shared unless you request otherwise, and we’re happy to include a personal message in the notification.

Memorial gifts may also be made in lieu of flowers by sharing the mailing information below with family and friends.

Please include with your gift:

  • The name of the person being honored or remembered

  • The name and mailing address of the person you would like notified

About Notification Letters

Notification letters are mailed within 2–3 days of receiving your gift. Recipients receive your name and mailing address so they may send a thank-you, unless you request otherwise.
