Shop. Donate. Volunteer.

The Lake-Geauga Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Eastlake is a nonprofit home improvement store and donation center open to the public. You can shop for affordable furniture and home goods, donate gently used items, or volunteer to support your community—all in one place.

Our inventory is always changing and relies on donations from the community. We make it easy to give back—schedule a free pickup for large furniture donations, and we’ll come to you.

We accept new and gently used furniture, appliances, housewares, building materials, tools, plumbing, electrical items, and more. Shoppers can find quality items at 50–75% off retail prices.

Every purchase and donation supports Lake-Geauga Habitat for Humanity, helping build affordable homes and fund our Home Repair Program, which provides critical home repairs for local seniors and veterans—keeping them safe, stable, and in their homes.

The ReStore also hosts fun, family-friendly events throughout the year, giving the community even more ways to get involved and make an impact.

ReStore Policies & FAQs

Will You Pick Up Items Inside My Home?

Please read carefully and thoroughly: ReStore staff only retrieve items from the first floor of homes. To ensure a smooth and efficient pickup, we require all donations to be consolidated near the main entrance, such as by the front door, in a garage, or on a front porch. Please note: ReStore staff are not liable for any damages incurred during the handling or removal of donated items.

Store & Refund Policies

First Come, First Served All items are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. We can hold an item for one hour while you shop. ReStore has a 7 day refund policy on most items. Exceptions for Large Appliances Large appliances (refrigerators, washers, dryers, freezers, and ovens) include a 30-day warranty and may be returned within 30 days of purchase. All returns must be accompanied by the original dated sales receipt. For items held for later pickup, the return period begins on the date of purchase, not the pickup date. For questions or to request a copy of this policy, please speak with management. Pickup and Refund Policy You must present your original sales receipt at the time of pickup. All purchased items must be picked up within 5 business days of purchase. Items not picked up within this timeframe will be ineligible for refund or store credit and will be considered a donation to the ReStore. The standard 7-day refund policy does not apply to items left beyond the pickup window. Store Hours Wednesday – Saturday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Donation Drop-Off Hours Tuesday: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM Wednesday – Saturday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM No early or after-hours pickups available. Important Reminder:  You must present your original sales receipt when picking up items.

Do You Negotiate Prices?

We do not negotiate prices. This policy ensures fair pricing for all shoppers and helps support Lake-Geauga Habitat for Humanity’s mission to provide critical home repairs and affordable homeownership in our community. Items are dated and marked down over time. If something isn’t in your budget, check back in a few weeks for possible discounts.

Green Efforts

ReStore resale outlets provide an environmentally and socially responsible way to keep good, reusable materials out of the waste stream while supporting Lake-Geauga Habitat for Humanity’s community improvement work. When possible, donated building materials are used to build and preserve Habitat homes. Extra building materials, along with furniture, appliances, and other items, are sold to the public at more than 50% off retail prices.
