Lake-Geauga Habitat for Humanity exists because we believe everyone deserves a safe, stable place to call home.

As part of the global network of Habitat for Humanity International, we are guided by the mission to put God’s love into action by bringing people together to build homes, communities, and hope. Here in Lake and Geauga Counties, that mission comes to life through partnership — with families, volunteers, donors, local businesses, and faith communities.

We don’t give away houses. We partner with families who invest sweat equity, complete financial education, and purchase their homes with affordable mortgages. We repair homes for seniors and veterans so they can remain safely in the neighborhoods they love. We operate ReStore to turn donated goods into funding for affordable housing solutions.

Our story is one of collaboration. Every nail hammered, every donation dropped off, every volunteer shift completed, and every ReStore purchase made becomes part of something bigger.
