Who We Are

For over 35 years, Lake-Geauga Habitat for Humanity has partnered with families, volunteers, and businesses to build safe, affordable homes. Together, we’ve changed lives and strengthened our communities one home at a time.

What We’re Doing

We are celebrating a historic milestone: building our 100th home. Through the 100 Homes and Beyond Campaign, we aim to raise $240,000 from October – June 2026 to fully fund and build this special home.

Where It Matters

Right here in Lake and Geauga Counties. 99 families have already achieved homeownership with us, and our 100th home will continue that legacy of stability and opportunity for local families.

Why It Matters

In Ohio, 1 in 8 households spend more than half their income on housing, leaving little for food, healthcare, and other essentials. Children in stable homes do better in school, experience improved health, and have brighter futures. Families with affordable housing are more likely to hold steady jobs, contribute to the local economy, and strengthen the entire community.
