Celebrate Earth Day with us at ReStore with fun activities for the community and a recycling effort that supports Habitat’s mission.

 

Activities: Plant a Seed & Paint a Pot | 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Kids and families are invited to decorate a small pot and plant a seed to take home.

 

Aluminum Can Drive-Thru Collection | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Drop off your aluminum cans at our donation center drive-thru, anytime throughout the day! Proceeds from recycled cans support Lake-Geauga Habitat for Humanity’s work building and repairing homes for local families.

 

This collection effort is made possible through a grant from Novelis, helping us expand recycling initiatives that support our mission. Our goal is to collect 500 pounds of aluminum cans this Earth Day as we kick off our recycling initiative in 2026.

 

Business Participation:

Does your business, bar, or restaurant want to participate? We’re partnering with local businesses to collect aluminum cans throughout the season. Habitat can provide collection receptacles, drop them off, and pick up the cans when they are full. For partnership information, contact: info@lakegeaugahabitat.org
